Kantanka branded vehicles officially launched Featured

A colorfully ceremony to officially commission the Kantanka brand of vehicles was organised yesterday at Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region where the cars are assembled. The Kantanka branded vehicles were manufactured and assembled here in Ghana. The vehicles comes in different models including Kantanka SUV, Kantanta K71 and Kantanka pickups. Ghanaians will have the opportunity to buy any of brands tomorrow at the Accra International Conference Centre since its first production in 2007 as test vehicles. The Chief Operating Officer of Kantanka Auto Mobile Ghana Limited, Mr. Kwadwo Junior in an interview after the ceremony said, the vehicles come at an affordable price to suit every working class in the country. According to him, the company will soon announce to Ghanaians were they will be able to purchase any of the branded vehicles. He said the prices for the vehicles will be announced at the AICC when the company outdoors the vehicles to the general public. On his part, founder and leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission, Apostle Dr. Ing Kwadwo Safo indicated that the official commercialization of the vehicles has been certified by the Ghana Road Safety Commission, Driver Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), and all other state agencies both local and internationally after meeting the required international standards. He revealed that the prices for his branded vehicles will be determined based on the tax rate that will be on them. Dr. Safo urged Ghanaians to help promote his vision of and share in the African dream to show the Western world that we can also do what they do. According to him Ghanaians should watch out for the Kantanka branded range of taxis across the country. The President of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hon. Seth Adjei Baah said the founder leader of the Kantanka Company has placed Ghana on the world market with his ingenuous products and for him he see this as opportunity for Ghanaians to be able to purchase the Kantanka vehicles at a very reasonable rate. He opined that this will create more job opportunities for especially the youth. He admonished Ghanaians to help promote the initiative by Apostle Safo, believe in the made in Ghana campaign. He added the country stands to benefit economically if we invest in our own. In his view this will only not benefit Ghanaians but Africa as a whole.
