Female gospel musician Cecy Twum has said her hit album ‘Me Nyame Aye Awie’ was the one that shot her into the limelight despite other albums she did in the past.
Speaking to Sokoohemaa on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, she said that album was one that was on the lips on every Ghanaian including market women.
According to her, the album which was released seven years ago won the hearts of music lovers in the country.
Cecy Twum said she does not rush in releasing songs but waits upon God who directs her path.
‘’I always wait upon God. I do not rush in releasing songs because I wait upon God. I have done a lot of songs and if I want to release them, I can easily do that however, I do not rush,’’ she said.
Cecy Twum in August this year, released her latest, ‘Jehovah’. ‘Jehovah’ the new single that talks about the wondrous nature of God and his goodness, was expertly produced by one of the classy producers of all time, Nacee.
Ceccy Twum is noted for songs like ‘Nhyiraba,’ ‘Adom,’ ‘Osoro Kasiebo’ among others.
