Body builders, popularly referred to as ‘macho men, have been stereotyped as trouble makers.
However, that is not the story of upcoming gospel artiste, Naasei originally known as Vicker Osei Danso, a self employed ‘macho man’ who loves singing.
The artiste has so far released seven singles and expected to launch his first studio album in April 2018.
His latest single, ‘Mehia Wo’ literally meaning ‘I need You’ is a well composed song recorded by Ben Waves in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
The artiste in ‘Mehia Wo’ prays to God and ask that he guides and help him to flee from sin.
The single was produced by VOD and in an interview with rainbworadioonline.com, Naasei said he is inspired by to use his songs to honour and draw people to God.
Naasei attended the Effiduase Senior High School and is an expert in Wall Covering and Wallpaper Installations.
He described himself as a talented person who is ready to take over the scene by storm.
He encouraged the media to pay attention to young talented musicians so they can project their work just like they do for the already established household names in the industry.
When asked his expectation for the future, he said, ‘’I want to use my songs to win souls for the kingdom. I believe that music is my passion and something I can use to appreciate God for his kindness, love and grace showered upon me.’’
The bible also encourages the youth to remember their maker in their youthful days and one way we can do so is to use our talents to serve the Lord and that is what I want to do through music.
His other released tracks are ‘Medo’ ‘Gye Me’ (medley), ‘Yi Na Ye’, ‘Obeye Ama Wo’, Okokuroko’, and Me Mpaebo’.
