Organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) Charter House have revealed at a press conference that, Ebony Reigns qualifies to be nominated in this year’s ceremony despite her death.
This was disclosed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Theresa Ayoade, at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra today [Friday].
She further indicated that the passing of the ‘Maame Hwe’ hitmaker would not in any way affect the possibility of her works being nominated.
The nominations for this year’s ceremony are expected to be unveiled on March 2, 2018.
The theme for the 19th edition is dubbed ‘’Our Music Beyond Borders.
The main ceremony is slated for Saturday April 14, 2018.
Prior to the main awards night, there will be a nominees jam on March 24, 2018 at Cape Coast, and a music seminar on April 12, 2018 at the Movenpick Hotel.
