Ghana Meets Niaja leaves lasting impressions after successful event

The nation was brought to a halt this weekend by the long awaited GHANA MEETS NAIJA 18 “RESCUE MISSION” edition. On Saturday night, fans of music and entertainment took to the Dome at the Accra Trade Fair Centre to watch their various artistes battle it out. The event was well attended and organized with the program scheduled to be headed by top artistes of Ghana and Nigeria. Top artistes on the bills were Stonebuoy,YaaPono, Kidi, Kwame Eugene, King Promise, Fancy Gadam and Patapaa for the Ghanaian side whiles Wizkid, Mr. Eazi and Mayorkun led the Nigerian side. Fans were thrilled at the beginning of the show when the Nigeria and Ghanaian anthem were sung by a new artiste named Nana Yaa followed by other acts such Sis Afia and the Black Avenue Music (BAM) crew. Patapaa thrilled fans and music lovers with an awesome performance followed by Kwame Eugene and Mayorkun. Stonebuoy and YaaPono wowed the crowd followed by King Promise and Kidi. The night was filled with so much energy and love when the Nigerian acts Wizkid and Mr. Eazi took over the stage and gave their best performances. Shatta Wale graced the occasion as the surprise artiste for the night after been introduced by Wizkid. They shared loved after the acclaimed “beef” between them on stage and fans were very excited at the scene. The show was attended by the first lady Madam Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Minister for Creative Arts and Culture Catherine Afeku, the CEO of Empire entertainment Bola Ray and other celebrities.
