Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel has described offerings and tithes as a fraud.
The musician who is known for controversial comments when it comes to Christianity and the saviour Jesus Christ said, pastors who encourage their members to pay tithe and offertory are fraudsters.
Although the bible says God is pleased with personal giving. It's in the Bible, Exodus 35:22, TLB. "Both men and women came, all who were willing-hearted. They brought to the Lord their offerings of gold, jewellery—earrings, rings from their fingers, necklaces—and gold objects of every kind."
The musician says the act of offertory and tithing is an Old Testament directive and yet, men of God who refers to activities in the same bible, as past events hence should not be practiced today, are fleecing members through tithes and offerings.
She slammed men of God who she stated are living opposite lifestyles from what they preach.
She is claiming that she will go back for all her tithes and offerings she gave her former church ‘’because it is a fraud.’’
‘’If I get the chance, I will go back for my tithes and offerings I gave to the church,’’ she added.
She was speaking to Sokoohemaa Kukua on the mid-morning show on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.
