Award winning female gospel musician, Diana Hopeson has revealed on GH Entertainment on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that, she featured Ghanaian Rap Doctor, Okyeame Kwame because she needed a musician who could rap in her latest song.
The evergreen musician speaking to Agyemang Prempeh, host, said, she knew the award winning musician was a good rapper, talented and very good, hence her decision to feature him.
The former MUSIGA President who has for a decade remained silent in the scene, returns with a testimony of her personal life through this thanksgiving song titled, 'Aseda'.
When asked why she failed to feature artiste like Joe Mettle, and other best faces in the gospel industry, she responded saying, ''i needed somebody who could rap and all these musicians you mentioned do not rap and i couldn't have forced them to rap. This is a thanksgiving song which music lovers can dance to and so i needed someone who could rap and that's why i chose him.''
In an answer as to what type of artiste Okyeame Kwame was, Diana Hopeson described him as a musician, a Christian and someone well trained.
According to her, the fact that Okyeame Kwame does not do worship songs does not mean he is not a Christian. She revealed that the musician did not charge her a penny.
