The nominee for the Office of Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, has told Parliament’s Appointment Committee that, his family issues are private matters.
He gave the response in clarifying the number of children he had.
The nominee told the committee that, he was going to honestly state in his Curriculum Vitae (CV) that, he had no children.
The nominee stated on the face of his CV the number of adult children he had and added, he used adult children because he had no responsibility for these children.
‘’As far as I am concerned, they are not my children. When you go to the US and temper with anybody of this age, you will go to jail. It was because of the ambiguity of the question.’’
When asked to disclose the identity of his children he said ‘’my family matters are private.’’
