Martin Amidu, the Special Prosecutor nominee says he has no regret as a founding member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The nominee said by his appointment, he do not have to be linked to any political party.
He was responding a question on whether he was still a member of the NDC or resigned.
The nominee said ‘’since my appointment as prosecutor, I have been neutral. I have been a member of the NDC and I will never regret. There are so many issues I have refused to reply to just because of this appointment. I would have.
By operation of law, I do not have to be linked with any political party and that is what I intend to do. It doesn’t have to take me to resign,’’ he added.
