A former Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Omari Wadie, has said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, cannot clear the mess of the former National Democratic Congress (NDC) in a year.
Appearing as a guest on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said, it would be impossible for the NPP to clear the heavy mess created by the NDC led by former President John Dramani Mahama, in a year.
Mr. Wadie added, although the NDC spent 8 years in government, they failed to deliver on their promises but rather, they created a mess which is going to take a lot of time to cure.
He also slammed the NDC for attacking the president over the purchase of some 200 Corolla vehicles and helicopters for the Police Service.
He insisted that the vehicles and helicopters are paramount and would ensure the police work efficiently.
The aspiring 1st Vice Chairman for the ruling party said, the Nana Addo led administration is on track with formalizing the Ghanaian economy.
He was reacting to concerns raised by Abu Afandi, a communications team member with opposition NDC who took a swipe at the president for failing to deliver on his promises.
Abu Afandi described the president as a talkative who enjoys deceiving Ghanaians.
