The Brong Ahafo regional Minister, Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh, has admonished final year students sitting for the 2018 West African Senior Secondary Exams, to avoid any form of examination malpractice.
He has also called on the students to desist from relying on ‘apo’ and rather do their best to pass their exams.
He made the remarks at the Brekum Methodist Senior High School, after visiting some examination centres in the region on Thursday.
The minister also admonished the final year students to assist their parents at home and avoid engaging in any form of social vices.
According to him, completing senior high school is just a step to pursuing higher education hence the need for the students to assist their parents so they can prepare for their tertiary education.
Some 380, 000 students from 915 schools across the country are sitting for the exam which is currently ongoing.
