The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has signed a five years contract (sponsorship package) with Zylofon Cash for the premier league.
The ceremony was held at the plush Movenpick Ambassador Hotel here in Accra today [Thursday] May 17, 2018.
The deal is reportedly worth $10 million over a five year period, with all 16 Ghana Premier League club’s expected to receive a combined sum of $2 million annually over the period.
The league will now be known as Zylofon Cash Premier League, Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi stated.
Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Group, Nana Appiah speaking at signing ceremony said: ”Zylofon Cash has proudly taken a decision to be the headline sponsor of the Ghana Premier League.
“We are aiming to use our brand to help the development of football in the country, and there is no better place to start than supporting the local league.’’
