We must stop Anas from premiering latest expose on GFA-MP 'cries'

Written by  May 27, 2018
Maverick politician and Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has slammed investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, over his approach in exposing people. The legislator expressed his dislike at the approach used by the award winning journalist and he is currently advocating for the yet to be premiered ‘’Number 12’’ expose, to be shelved and the public prevented from viewing the video. According to him, Anas must be stopped before he investigates people in their bedrooms. "Do you think Anas has the right to do what he is doing? Do you think so? We should be careful the way things are going. We kept quiet over the judges' issue. Now he is at GFA. Tomorrow it could be you or me. He could be in your bedroom whilst you are asleep with your wife," he noted. He was reacting to the ongoing investigations into alleged fraud leveled against GFA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi over the matter. Mr. Agyapong told Net 2 Dialogue program Anas should be stopped from going ahead with the intended premiering of the documentary. "I totally disagree with his approach. Somebody should take him to court right now to stop him from what he is doing, he fired" He continued, "You want to premier this? We have to stop him or else, he will end up one-day recording you whilst you are asleep with your wife and premiere it in public," he told host Abedi Anim. "First of all, Nyantakyi talks too much. You promise to give President [Akufo-Addo] $ 5million; $ 3 million to the Vice president, $ 2 million for yourself, $ 1 million for minister, all totaling $ 11 million. "Let me tell you, you could tell that he has not seen money like this before at the GFA." If he has seen the money before or worked hard for money, he would have known that no company will give him $ 11 million just to go and see the President and the Vice President and the minister".
