A woman lost her daughter all because no one was willing to lift her baby because she was premature.
On her arrival at the hospital, nurses did not bother to ask or attend to her to see what the situation was. Out of negligence she lost her baby.
She shared her experience during the phone in segment on Frontline, the morning show on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.
According to the woman, [name withheld] the nurses made no attempt to treat the baby in her condition and concluded nothing can be done to save the baby’s life.
She quotes “These acts have been so vibrant and regular that it is termed as normal in hospitals”.
Both the rich and poor experience the negligence and it is very sad. She added that, people who were trained to be caring no longer discharge their duties in a professional and ethical manner..
There are no signs of empathy, sympathy and compassion and this is a shame to the country.
She explained these acts really show how bad and rotten the system has become.
We cherish the dead than the living and it is absurd. It is not going to get any better if the government and individuals do not step up their game.
