Homosexuality is not accepted by animals; cannot be accepted by Humans-MP

Written by  Aug 10, 2018
The Deputy Majority Chief Whip of Parliament, Moses Anim has slammed persons engaging in same sex relationship. The legislator in an interview Friday said, animals in the animal kingdom do not accept homosexuality so why should human beings entertain such acts? Homosexuality he noted is unacceptable, un-Ghanaian, unbiblical and culturally disgusting. Reacting to the assurance given by President Akufo-Addo that he will not endorse homosexuality at the Synod of the Global Evangelical Church, the MP said, Nana Addo is a God fearing man who upholds his Christian values and will not endorse such an ungodly act. Moses Anim further noted he was not surprised the president gave the assurance because it will never be endorsed. Legalizing gay rights he stressed will never be endorsed, entertained and encouraged in Ghana. ‘’I will ask those calling for gay rights and gays to go to the animal kingdom and practice their gay life. But I am convinced the animals will not even entertain their distasteful act.’’ He called on Ghanaians to pray for such individuals so they will have a change of character from their evil ways. President Akufo-Addo addressing Synod of the Global Evangelical Church said his administration has no plans to legalize gay marriage. He said, ‘’let me assure that, this government has no plans to change the law on same sex marriage. We have no authority and we will not seek any authority to do so.’’ The president who described himself as a Christian in politics stressed that he cannot endorse homosexuality, adding, ‘’I am a Christian in politics and will continue to be so. A politician who is deeply influenced by Christian values.’’ For him, it will be in our interest to pull our resources together, to build a happy and prosperous nation. I know the church can be influential in making a dramatic difference in education, health and sanitation.’’
