Sweden based Ghanaian attacking mildfielder, Innocent Teiko Amechitovi has expressed his readiness to serve the National Team, Black Stars if he is called.
The multi-talented left footed, who plays for Sweden Ik Virgo Football club said this in an exclusive interview with Rainbow Sports.
According to him, he is ready and willing to serve his country and help the National Team as a player is given the nod.
The skipper who mans the midfield for his current club said he has birth the desire to serve his National Team because he sees the opportunity as his patriotic duty.
Innocent Teiko Amechitovi until his current club played for Västra Frölunda in Sweden were he captained the B team winning.
He is described as an exceptional player and has won man of the match for his current club in the on two occasions, last season.
''I am ready to serve my National Team...I see this as an opportunity and a patriotic duty to my nation, so why not i will be more than willing to play for the Black Stars of Ghana any time the opportunity comes...The National Team has grown from strength to to strength with exceptional talents playing for the team and i hope and pray that i will be called and represent my nation Ghana,'' he told Rainbow Sports in an interview at his base in Sweden.
He described himself as a resilient, dedicated and focused player who does his best on the field of play and outside the pitch.
''I am a disciplined player and that is one thing every player called up to the National Team must poses, and i believe that mark alone can make me excel as a player should i be called up.''
Innocent Teiko Amechitovi was born on December 4, 1989 in Ghana.
