Ghanaian youth star Eugene Ansah who plays for Sporting Lokeren says he is ready to serve his national team the Black Stars of Ghana.
The striker in an exclusive interview with Rainbow Sports said, he feels it is time to represent the country to give up his best just like he's done for his club.
Â Te former Liberty Professionals Academy graduate whose tender age has not been a barrier for him for his early progress, says he had always seen himself playing for the national team and has work steadily towards that moment and feels that, the time has come for him to join the national team.
Eugene Ansah had played for Liberty Professionals and in the Europa League. He took the Belgium Cup in the year 2014.
His skills, talent and desire for hard work won him a place in the 18 man squad of Lokeren at age 18 in the year 2013 which the manger, Peter Maes said was based on his versatility and hard work.Â
The Â versatile young forward has proved till date that, he is indeed ready to serve his national team when given the nod.
He told Rainbow Sports that, he is just focusing and working hard for the opportunity and will not disappoint the nation, when given the chance.
''It will be a great feeling for me to play for the national team. But it is not easy to just gain a placement on the national team. It demands hard work and talent and most importantly, discipline. And that is something i have worked on, so i will say with confidence that, i am ready to play for Ghana and raise my flag high.''
Â He added ''I have the vision to achieve greater things as a footballer and I feel i must push harder and start playing for the national team. This is an opportunity and a task every good Â player looks forward to.''
