Presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is storming the Brong Ahafo region with his 'Arise for Change' tour.
He is expected to tour the region in the next 5 days. The tour will offer him the opportunity to outline his vision to residents in the region.
The presidential candidates is expected to interact with chiefs and traditional leaders in the region as part of the tour.
Nana Addo will as part of the tour today, Friday addressing a gathering of party supporters at Benchem in the Tano North constituency where the party's parliamentary candidate , is expected to officially launch his campaign,
Speaking in an interview with Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Alfred Ofori Ayin, regional secretary of the NPP said the region will be at a stand still because residents are calling for the return of the NPP led by Nana Addo, to deliver a competent governance.
The NDC he opined have lost track in the region, but the NPP is firmly rooted in the region and come election day, they will shock the governing party.
Ghanaians he added, are suffering over killer tariffs, utility hikes, youth unemployment among other serious problems.
''NDC will be dreaming to claim victory in this region. Mahama is going to lose massively.''
