The Tafo Zongo leaders held a closed door meeting with the Zongo youths to find lasting solution between them and the traditional Council.
It emerged at the meeting that the recent attacks and counter attacks between residents of Tafo and Zongo community was not as a result of an attack on a colleague.
Some angry youth of the community marched to the palace few days ago demanding guns to defend themselves against members of the Zongo community they claimed had assaulted their colleague.
The alleged attack is linked to the February 10, 2016 incident in which Moslem youth clashed with loyalists of the Tafo traditional council over disagreements on a piece of land at the Tafo cemetery.
However, our regional correspondent Kwabena Amoateng said the attacks was fueled between some owners of two separate bars who were fighting for customers.
According to him, the owners of these bars hired thugs to attack customers who failed to patronize their bars.
The police he said have warned the operators of these bars to desist from their actions or face the full rigors of the law.
