Reports reaching Nyankonton Mu Nsem from Ahyiahem indicates that the linguist and head of family at Gomoa have been poisoned to death.
The incident occurred yesterday [Wednesday] our reporter Banahene said.
Narrating the incident, he said the linguist and the head of family went on an official duty and upon return back to the palace, the linguist brought in water which they both drunk to quench their thirst.
They later retired to their beds with the hope of returning back to the place to preside over a case but unfortunately, the two were found dead when some elders had gone to call them for the meeting.
It remains unclear what actually killed the two elders but some are alleging that the water they consumed was poisoned.
The remains of the deceased persons, Okyeame Kwadwo Afum and Abusuapanyin Kwame Asare have been deposited at the morgue awaiting autopsy.
