Mr. Peter Mac Manu, the campaign manager for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has debunked claims that the president-elect has named some persons as ministers.
Nana Akufo-Addo was expected to have presented a list of ministers to serve in his government today [Thursday] to the National Executive Committee (NEC).
However, the names were not presented today during the meeting.
Some individuals have speculated names for various positions but Peter Mac Manu says the final decision to appoint ministers lies with the president-elect.
The President-elect, Nana Akufo and the Vice-President-elect, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia were at the meeting.
Mr. Mac Manu said Nana Akufo-Addo had maintained that he would undertake exhaustive consultation with a number of stakeholders before making any appointments.
He added, the president-elect has asked for more time in appointing his ministers. In a related development, Dr. Richard Amoako Baah has slammed those circulating names of persons they speculate will be appointed.
He also advised Nana Addo to appoint competent persons for the job and not bow to pressure.
