The Algerian Ambassador to Ghana, Youcef Dilileche has paid a courtesy call on the Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah.
The meeting according to him, was aimed at encouraging the two countries, to form a partnership in the training of managers in the field of sports and to develop the exchange of national teams and athletes.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, the Ambassador said, they look forward to that cooperation between the two countries.
‘’We will establish and develop this cooperation between the two countries. That means we are going to have a good political relation between the two countries…But we must give a good economic content and link the sports and culture of the two countries,’’ he said.
He added, the Minister expressed his readiness to study the drafted document and ‘’he expressed his will that Ghana is also ready to establish this cooperation with Algeria[...] and there are a lot of opportunities…’’
Ambassador Delileche indicated further that, they also discussed about sports infrastructure since it forms part of their cooperation.
‘’The infrastructure is very important because you cannot talk about sports without infrastructure of sports; there is a link between the two aspects,’’ he added.
