The theme according to the organizers is to encourage men to be involved in fighting and creating more awareness about breast cancer.
‘Women are dying out of breast cancer everyday and this is sad. Children are losing mothers and husbands losing wives. We want women to go for breast cancer screening from time to time because early detection can save a life,’’ a statement issued by the foundation said.
The walk is been championed by the Sokoohemaa foundation and would need support from corporate bodies.
The starting point for the walk is the Obra Spot and will end at the Kaneshie Market.
