The Tesano District Police Commander, ASP. Oduro Amaning on Friday, August 6, 2021, advised the public to desist from bribing police officers.
The officers said it is a criminal offence to bribe an officer since both the bribe taker and the one who offered to are liable for prosecution.
He also advised drivers to obey traffic regulations, desist from acts that violate the traffic regulations, and accept the consequences when they do.
He also advised officers to be professional in their work and avoid putting the service in a bad light.
Appearing on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he touched on several issues including bail conditions, what constitutes bail and how persons seeking to stand in as sureties are to do.
