Fast rising gospel musician, Samuel Osei Bonsu, has said he is the owner of the viral song “Nnipa Foo Ne Ka Nsemfo “.
During an interview with Fiifi Pratt on highlife Paradise on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, Samuel Osei Bonsu disclosed that he is the rightful owner of the song but Brother Sammy stole it without his approval.
The graduate of Kumasi High School and versatile musician said he composed the song with a friend by name Gasty but Brother Sammy stole the song after he had posted it on his status on WhatsApp.
He further disclosed that he had no intention of posting the song so he had to delete but his friends demanded for a copy so he had no option than to give to them.
He said he later saw that some popular musicians and actors including Kwame A-Plus,l were circulating the song on the various social media handles.
This he noted brought him into the limelight and had radio and television interviews.
He said although, I felt the song contained harsh lyrics, it was a way God wanted to bring me into the limelight.
Samuel Osei Bonsu told the host Brother Sammy confronted him at an event and asked him to remake the song, and indicate in it that he [Brother Sammy], was the original composer of the song.
”I told my brother about it but he asked me not to do it. However, I realised Brother Sammy had released the song. I felt bad about it,” he added.
Meanwhile, he has disclosed to the host he has worked on the song and will release it soon.
Samuel Osei Bonsu said he is currently without a manger but believes would get one soon.
I have about 7 songs but i haven’t been able to release it because I have no one to support me financially he added.
When asked about his relationship with co – gospel musician Brother Sammy, he said, ”Brother Sammy is not my friend. I only know him as a gospel musician but he is not my friend.”
