Ghana to deepen the relationship with Morocco-GFA

The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association Henry Asante says the Football Association is pleased with the friendship between Ghana and Morocco.

According to him, their Moroccan counterparts have proven to be reliable and for that matter, the FA wishes to keep and extend such relationship.

He also added that the FA’s doors are opened to other countries that wish to play friendlies with the national teams here in Ghana or elsewhere. He thinks that will give them the needed exposure or build their confidence.

In an interview with Rainbow sports on the allegations made by the board chairman of Bofoakwa Tano Yaw Boateng Gyan som months ago, Henry said ” Yes Dreams have petitioned the FA and the matter has been transferred to the ethics committee since it has to do with issues of allegations”.

He however added that there are governing bodies in every court so he believes based on the evidence of both sides will determine who will emerge victoriously.

Mr. Asante further stated that after the hearing whoever needs to be punished will be dealt with accordingly.

Finally, when asked about Asante Kotoko’s appeal to the FA to allow fans to the stadium for their return league against Fc Nouadhibou of Mauritania, he said:” that decision is not for the FA to take rather of government but the club licensing board have received a letter concerning their change of venue and in due course, they will reply them after a decision is taken.”
