The Electoral Commission (EC) has refuted media reports that the Chairperson has been denied entry onto the United States of America after declaring the presidential election.
News went viral especially on social media term that the EC boss has been denied visa to by the United States embassy.
But the EC has refuted the claims saying it is fake news.
Mrs. Jean Mensa, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, as well as all the Commissioners are at post discharging their legally mandated duties,” the statement from the EC said.
