Reduce your obolo size govt, deal seriously with corruption-Nana told

Mr. Michael Ebo Amoah, a political analyst, and lecturer has advised President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to reduce the size of his government.

He noted some of the ministries the president created did not add any value to the development of the nation.

To him, the Monitoring and Evaluation Ministry is one of the ministries that he can say added no value to the government of Akufo-Addo.

Mr. Ebo Amoah said some of these ministries did not contribute to the fortunes of the elections although there is no scientific proof to buttress that point.

Sanitation he lamented has not even improved with the establishment of the Ministry.

He wants these ministries to be scrapped and others combined to reduce the number of ministries we have.

The Ministries of Fisheries he added should be scrapped or there should be no deputies assigned to these ministries.

Speaking on the allegations If rigging in the polls, he said until the National Democratic Congress takes their case to court for the court to overturn the decision of the current results, he thinks the president won the elections.

The political analyst said despite the challenges facing the elections, the president remains the president because the mandated authority that declares the elections has declared him.

He advised the NDC to challenge the results if they have the evidence.

Meanwhile, he has also advised the president to refocus his attention in fighting corruption.

The Office of Special Prosecutor he suggested must be resourced, strengthen, and reshaped to help fight corruption.

He said the president has been given the second chance to do things right and he (Amoah) believes he is the right person to develop Ghana.
