The Police Criminal Investigation Department has arrested one Dennis Seyram Benson for posing as a lawyer.
The suspect was representing suspects arrested in connection to the Western Togoland brouhaha.
The police in a statement said the suspect was arrested today, Thursday, December 17, 2020.
“Suspect had been appearing before the Court as Lawyer for the said clients since September 2020, but his conduct aroused suspicion, leading to preliminary investigation which showed that he is not a Lawyer. He is in police custody assisting investigation.”
