NPP’s case over Sene West seat thrown out

The Wenchi High Court has struck out the petition filed by the governing New Patriotic Party against the Sene West parliamentary seat.

According to the court, the petition was irredeemably incompetent.

Also, 14 thousand cost was awarded against the petitioner.

The petitioners were seeking that the court grants them favour that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate for Sene West, Joseph Markay Kumah was duly elected and be declared as such.

The petitioners withdrew their interlocutory injunction in the last sitting with the court slapping an amount of six thousand on them for damages.
