Blame NDC’s bad management for galamsey-NPP Man

The Ablekuma Central New Patriotic Party’s youth organizer Isaac Asare (Akonoba) has said Ghanaians must blame the bad management of the previous NDC government for galamsey.

He said anytime the NDC wins power, they engage in acts that create problems for the nation, and it takes the leadership of the NPP to resolve these challenges.

He claimed that some NDC officials including, Kwaku Boahen, are sponsoring illegal miners to operate, adding the bad management of the NDC when in power created this mess.

In his view, if Ghanaians should give the NPP more years to rule, the problems confronting the nation will stop.

Meanwhile, he has posited that it would be prudent to have investors push in money in mining.

To him, this would address the issue of illegal mining, which has destroyed water bodies and lands in the country.

Akonoba said mining would benefit the country if it is well regulated hence it would be proper to look out for investors to push in their resources towards responsible mining.

He said mining requires huge investments and should not be left for persons who lack the resources to mine.

When this is done, jobs would be created and the illegal mining resolved.

The current government he added, is doing all it could to ensure that illegal mining is stopped once and for all.
