A communication team member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwasi Botwe has described Special Prosecutor nominee, Kissi Agyebeng as a brilliant legal brain.
In his view, the nominee is a fine legal brain and well respected in the legal profession.
The argument surrounding his age he noted should not be the criteria for intelligence and competence.
Age he, said, cannot be the measure for wisdom, and it was about time the youth prove themselves and stop this needless argument.
Attorney-General Godfred Dame, he stated, has distinguished himself and elevated to the tole as minister from a deputy role and, that should tell Ghanaians young people are capable of managing the affairs of state.
He asked Ghanaians to measure the nominee by his experience, competence and track record instead of his age.
To him, the nominee has a solid record in criminal law and other capabilities to manage the Special Prosecutor office.
He was hopeful Kissi Agyepong will deliver if he is given the nod to take over from former Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu, who resigned from his job last \year.
