FixTheCountry demo to come off after organizers met with security capos

Information reaching Rainbowradioonline.com indicates that the planned ‘FixTheCountry’ demonstration will be organised.

The Police had earlier stated that the demonstration could not be organised because of the restrictions on social gatherings and demonstrations due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

However, the organizers, have tweeted informing interested persons that the demonstrations will come off as planned.

This came after they had met with the Inspector General of Police James Oppong-Boanuh and other top security capos including the Defence, Interior, Foreign Affairs, Finance and National Security Ministers.

Also at the said meeting were the Director of the National Communications Authority, Joe Anokye, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice and 10 other persons from the various security agencies.

A series of tweets by the organisers read: ”According to Minister for National Security, “this is the best, most detailed and comprehensive notice for a protest they have ever seen!” We will keep updating you! Expect Press Statement Soon!”
