The Jospong Group of Companies has today, Saturday, May 15, 2021, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the construction of a Waste to Energy plant here in Ghana.
The company says it is adding this technology to its value chain to enhance “our vision of becoming a fully integrated waste management company based on sustainable waste management principles with minimal impact on public health and the environment.”
A statement issued by the company said: “Strategic partnership has been one of the core principles of the Jospong Group and today we are happy to add, MacDavid Green Solutions (MDGS)/MD Power from the United States of America to our family of partners specifically in the area of Waste to energy.
We are captivated by their experience in the area and are confident that this partnership will lead to a successful transfer of technology as already done in the area of collection, transfer, recycling, and composting,” the statement added.
