Asante Kotoko head coach Mariano Barreto has been handed a two-match ban by the Ghas Football Association for misconduct.
He has also been fined GHC3, 000.
The coach was charged for a breach of Article 38(8) (c) and 34(6) (d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2019 in respect of violations of the Associations Regulations.
The Kotoko coach had made allegations against the referees in his encounter with Legon cities by stating that his side played 11 against 15.
He also used offensive comments about the performance of the referees alleging that they were always going against the team.
He is expected to serve a two-match touchline ban, meaning he will miss Kotoko’s remaining league games.
