Ashanti Gold midfielder Appiah McCarthy has returned to training after suffering an injury in the first round of the Ghana Premier League.
Appiah McCarthy missed some part of the first round and the rest of the 2020/2021 season following his injury against Legon Cities on matchday 09 of the Ghana Premier League.
The player failed to recover from an injury he sustained during the game against Legon Cities in Accra.
McCarthy was missing in the 30-man squad announced by the club for the second round of the campaign.
The 24- year old has been Impressive for the Miners netting three goals before his injury.
McCarthy was an integral part of the team which coach Thomas Duah prepared for the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
His absence affected the performance of the club which saw them drop from the top four to the eleventh position on the league table with just a match to complete the season.
