After they paid the money, they are later called and informed that they are to attend a training session so it would serve as a means to enter the services with ease.

ASP Baffour disclosed that the victims are lured to travel to Takoradi or Agona Nkwanta, but upon reaching the location, the victims are led into a room known as an education room.

From there, the victims are indoctrinated and thought about how to make quick money.

The victims are then asked to lure their brothers or sisters with similar interests so they would also be lured by the team.

The Commander further revealed the victims are made to pay for accommodation and feeding, aside from the Ghc5,000 they had earlier paid.

The suspects arrested are James Seidu, Joel Michel, Det Innoriki, David Ayaba, Nana Kwame, Samson Ayikaa, Emmanuel Esawugi, Simon and Believer Forgive.

Meanwhile, the Asamankese Circuit Court has remanded the suspects in Police custody to allow them to investigate the matter.

Some of the victims told Nyankonton Mu Nsem that some of them were promised enlistment into the Immigration Service, but it turned out that they were deceived and maltreated by the suspects.
