One person has died following a fatal accident at Gomoa Oyaadzi on the Winneba Apam highway.
The person is said to have died on the spot after the accident.
Five other persons have also sustained serious injuries.
The accident involves a Hyundai Sonata with registration number GN 208-17 which was from Mankesim heading towards Winneba and a tipper truck with the registration number GN 6422-19 also from Winneba to Mankesim.
The two cars collided with each other.
The Hyundai sonata is reported to have made a wrongful overtaken and collided with the tipper truck loaded with sand.
