The Police in Accra, today Wednesday, December 8, 2021, put before the La Magistrate Court, the seven suspect drivers who were arrested yesterday Tuesday, December 7, 2021, for flouting the Road Traffic Regulations.
The drivers are arrested during a special exercise.
A statement issued by the Police said five of the suspects appeared before court where four of them were fined Ghc1,800 each or in default serve a three-month jail term.
Meanwhile, the court has issued a warrant for the arrest of the Nhyiaso MP, Mr. Stephen Amoah, and one other suspect for failing to appear in court.
The Police indicated their preparedness to deal with unlawful persons.
