Give us jobs now or we’ll disrupt NPP delegates, conference-NPP Groups

Some groups of aggrieved members of the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti region, NPP Identifiable groups have threatened to disrupt the national delegates conference by the party to be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

The aggrieved NPP supporters are cliaming that the elephant family has neglected them despite their support for the party.

Members of the groups told Nyankonton Mu Nsem that they are suffering under their government.

To them, they sacrificed to get the party elected into office. However, they have not been rewarded for their contributions.

The groups which include Elephant Movement, Elephant Soldiers, NPP Vibrant Group, Bantama NPP Florida Fun Group among others said the NPP government has refused to employ them and their children in the various government institutions despite their promise.

Convener for the groups, Mr. Emmanuel Ampiah Mensah said they have channeled their grievances to the necessary authorities but their efforts have yielded no results.

Mr. Ampiah, on behalf of the groups, gave the party up to Friday find them jobs and others or they would have no option than demonstrate and disrupt the conference.

Some of the other members said they expected to have joined the security agencies but they had no idea about the recruitment.

Others also claimed they were disappointed forms for the recruitment exercise were sold contrary to the promise the party gave to them before assuming office.
