The Member of Parliament for Gomoa East Desmond De-Graft Kwasi Paitoo has supported twenty students who are in tertiary institutions within his constituency with Gh 1000 each to help minimize the financial burden on them.
He explained that the motive for supporting the students was to help improve education on his constituency.
He revealed that he help granted the students would go a long way to help them complete their education and they would later use their skills to help the constituency develop.
He has therefore urged all the 20 students to make good use of the little money he has giving them to pay their fees or hostle fees to reduce their burden so that they can learn hard, graduate with flying colours and become useful for their constituency.
He further pledged to assist the students to continuously offer financial support to needy but brilliant students in the constituency.
Some of the students who benefited from the member of parliament scholarship support commended him for his kind gesture.
They pledged to make good use of the money which the member of parliament have them.
