Two of the four legislators who had their names captured as part of the sponsors of the private member’s motion in Parliament demanding a bi-partisan probe into the death of the late President Mills have dissociated themselves from the motion.
The two MPs, Davies Opoku, Mpraeso MP and Yves Nii Noi, MP for Tema Central have disclosed that they are not aware of such a motion
According to them, they have not instructed anyone to present a motion of a sort in their name.
Although, they admitted having knowledge of a broader discussion surrounding the matter, they have not sponsored a motion for a probe.
The other MPs behind the motion are Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh and Tolon MP Habib Iddrissu.
