Evangelist Diana Asamoah donates to Dworwulu Special School

Renowned gospel musician Evangelist Diana Asamoah has through her Diana Asamoah for Christ Foundation donated assorted items to the Dworwulu Special School.

The musician and evangelist donated the items on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

She was accompanied by the Caretaker Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah; Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church International, Apostle George Yeboah; Apostle George Awuku Morklan, Prophetic Director, CAC; Apostle Benjamin Arhinful, Territorial Apostle, CAC-Accra South; Apostle Emmanuel Owuredu, Area Apostle, Taifa Area; Rev. Daniel Okity-Boamah, Resident Pastor, Sakumono Assembly, CAC, and Evangelist Salome Owusu-Afriyie.

The musician at the short exercise stated that her decision to donate the items was something God placed on her heart.

She commended the school, management, and staff for the care they have given to the students and pupils of the school.

According to her, one of the major reasons she donated to the school was to help the management care for the students.

She added that Ghanaians were going through some challenges and those who are working are complaining about economic challenges and how much more persons with special needs.

For this reason, “I have decided to donate these items to the school. I believe that items will go a long way to support the students”.

She further asked individuals, corporate Ghana, NGOs, musicians, actors, and groups to lend support to the Dworwulu Special School.

The Minister on her part commended the musician and asked others to emulate her kindness.

According to her, the government will continue to support the school so it will offer the best training for the students.

She indicated that the government will need the support of individuals, organizations, corporate bodies, and other groups to also support the school.

To her, the government will not be able to do it all alone and it will take support from them to assist the school.

The items donated included bags of rice, bags of maize, bags of sugar, bags of toilet rolls, boxes of Ekumfi fruit juice, washing powder, bottles of mineral water, diapers, bags of sachet water, among other items.

She also donated an undisclosed amount of money to the school.

On behalf of the Christ Apostolic Church International, Ghana, the Chairman Apostle George Yeboah also donated an undisclosed amount of money to the school.

Coming to the school for the first time, the man of God said he was impressed and excited at the work the management and staff were doing.

He said ” as Chairman of the Church who has accompanied our daughter to the school, I cannot leave without donating to the school. I will commend Diana Asamoah and what she has done. As a church, I am also donating this to the school”.

The principal of the Dworwulu Special School, Mr. Fredrick Tetteh was full of praise.

He expressed gratitude to the musician saying, he least expected the items donated.

He urged other persons with the resources to extend a hand to the less privileged in society to show them love and care.

He added that the school will continue to prove the children with the best skills training so they will be able to gain some form of skills, establish themselves and make some income.
