There is no bad blood, nor do I bear no grudge against President Akufo-Addo, as some people have alleged, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), has revealed.
In an interview with Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm’s Frontline, he stated that, contrary to these allegations, the relationship between him and the president was strong and free of bad blood.
The presidential candidate hopeful was responding to several claims that there was bad blood between him and the president because he had not been appointed by the president.
”I’ve not had bad blood with the president. I have a beautiful relationship with the president. But I want him to listen to some of us. The things I say come from the bottom of my heart.”
Meanwhile, he has revealed that he did not campaign for President Akufo-Addo in 2020 with the intention of becoming a minister or holding public office.
