Nketiah got no leadership qualities, Rawlings could ‘rise from his grave if he is elected chair’- Koku

Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has reiterated that Johnson Asiedu does not deserve to be elected chair of the party because he has no leadership qualities.

He stated that his former boss undermined the National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Kofi Porturphy and others while working with them.

“He (Asiedu Nketiah) thinks the party is for him. He is not happy that Ofosu Ampofo is the chairman. What is his vision for the party? What is happening is not the best and people who love the party must prevent him.

He wants to feed his ego. I decided not to talk about him. But to the extent that he wants to become the party’s chairman, I would expose him for what he is.”

He said the party must elect leaders with integrity, vision and character to manage the affairs of the party and not men without integrity.

He said Mr. Nketiah wants to feed his ego for his own personal and selfish interest adding that he has left pockets of problems across the various branches of the party.

He noted that the late President John Rawlings will turn in his grave and even resurrect to come and chastise the party should Mr. Nketiah be elected as party chairman.

“Asiedu Nketiah is not a leader. He has got no leadership qualities such that as we are in opposition, if he is elected as leader of the NDC till we have elected a flag bearer, oh my goodness, the late Jerry John Rawlings will resurrect from his grave and question why the party elected him as leader of the party.”

He made the remarks on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.
