Elizabeth Amoaa, an author and health advocate, has indicated that being born with two wombs, two cervixes, and two vαginαs canals is not a curse.
Sharing her life experience on the mid-morning show on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, she explained that although some saw her condition as a curse, she did not see it as such.
She told host Sokoohemaa Kukua that she was born with uterine malformation, which occurs when the embryogenetic fusion of the Müllerian ducts fails.
Miss Amoaa, also known as Special Lady, is a Women Reproductive Health Advocate who first came out in 2017 to tell her story as a woman born with uterus didelphys, a rare congenital abnormality of the womb.
According to her, she was diagnosed with her condition in her thirties after years of suffering from stomach pains, back pain, vaginal thrusts, and strange menstrual cycles, among other symptoms.
According to Elizabeth, she was told that because of her situation, as well as the fact that she has Uterine fibroids, she will be unable to conceive and have a child.
Her doctors prescribed her medication. Elizabeth defied all odds to conceive and give birth to a healthy child after battling the illness for years.
