A National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Said Sinare has thrown salvos at outgoing General Secretary and National Chairman hopeful, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.
He has described him as a dictator and a threat to the party’s 2024 victory.
According to Alhaji Sinare, Asiedu Nketiah unilaterally handed a membership dues payment contract to someone he imposed on the Functional Executive Committee.
Speaking at a meeting with some NDC delegates, he alleged that the choice of the party’s chief scribe is charging 20% commission when they had someone who had wanted to do it for free.
In a video that has since gone viral, he charged delegates of the party not to vote for him as chair of the party.
The former Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia said this when addressing party members in a meeting organised by the Ofosu Ampofo campaign team.
He alleged that General Mosquito singularly brought in a company to collect dues, and issue cards, among others to party members without FEC having an input.
