Rainbow Radio’s reporter and one other journalist rescues 19-year-old girl from molestation

Agyekum Banahene of Rainbow Radio and a colleague journalist assisted in the rescue of a 19-year-old girl from abuse and molestation.

The intervention of the two journalists saved a manor from being beaten on a regular basis by her auntie.

The victim is said to have been tortured by the auntie who promised her better opportunities.

Details available indicate that the victim was brought from the Volta region to stay with her auntie at Anopa Nsu near(Gomoa Ojobi) in the central region.

She beat her, according to the woman only known as Daavi, because the young girl is into boys.

She was arrested and is now in the custody of the Kasoa Police.

In explaining the details of the story, Banahene disclosed that they picked intelligence from the ordeal of the victim.

They later went to the area and posed as contractors working on a project in the area.

While there, they witnessed that the auntie was assaulting the victim, and she had suffered head injuries and other physical injuries on the body.

He stated that it took them two weeks to gather information and inform the police before arresting the suspect.
