Founder and General Overseer of the Word Vision Chapel International, Prophet Isaac Twum, has asked prophets not to prophesy when God has not spoken.
The respected man of God indicated that some prophets prophesy to glorify men so they would be seen as powerful.
He explained that it would be dangerous to use your carnal knowledge without directions from God and prophesy about issues.
”If God has not given a prophecy, do not prophesy because you want people to see you as powerful. Some prophets prophesy to please men. They have assumed titles and go about throwing their weight around. They seek popularity and fame in the presence of men who God has not even spoken to them.”
He was speaking to Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi on the Weekend Morning Show on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.
He added that some of the prophets are also not prayerful and see themselves as more powerful and go about doing things anyone.
He warned, ”do not go after the fame, popularity because the people see you as powerful when before God, you are nothing”.
He also wondered why the prophets only revealed these prophecies on December 31st.
