Founder and General Overseer of Kingdom Life Ministries Bishop Emmanuel Owusu Ansah, has stated that about 50% of pastors, prophets, and other men of Ghana and in the sub-region, are fake.
The man of God stated without mincing words that some of these men of God thrive on popularity, fame, and men for their glory.
He explained that these fake men of God are interested in money and because of that have departed from the core function of preaching salvation.
Bishop Emmanuel Owusu Ansah speaking on the Weekend Morning Show on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm averred that some give fake prophecies just to remain relevant.
He wondered why most of these prophecies are delivered only on 31st Watch Night Services.
The respected man of God said “some pastors are not walking in the path of righteousness. Others lack understanding of their call. There are others too who know their activities are not of God but they have not made up their mind to stop. It is for their selfish interest and material gains. I can confidently state that most pastors or 50% of pastors lack an understanding of their calling. They are moved by the praises showered on them by men.
He told host Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi that “Freedom of religion in a democratic society allows some persons to parade as pastors but they are not”.
He added that the reason why some people chase after these charlatans is that they have problems and challenges they want to be solved.
